Songwoo Kang is an active member of our Technology and Commercial Excellence practices, with deep expertise in Go-To-Market.
Since joining Bain in 2012, Songwoo has directed teams across multiple sectors within the technology space, including software, hardware, and cloud services, with Fortune 100 companies as well as mid-market players and high-growth companies. He works with CEOs and senior management teams on growth strategies across topics including Go-To-Market model, sales and post-sales coverage, sales force effectiveness, territory and compensation design, pricing and discount guidance, and channel strategy. He also works with clients to address large-scale transformations and corporate strategy.
Prior to joining Bain, Songwoo was a product manager and a software engineer.
He holds an MBA from the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Seoul National University.
