Eliza Kennedy (Liza) is a member of the firm’s Customer Strategy & Marketing practice, with deep expertise in Commercial Excellence and a passion for growth-driven Transformations across industries.
She is the product leader of the Sales Play System, a powerful, go-to-market approach to building pipeline and driving consistent, sustainable growth. Her core expertise is applying this approach to help sales teams become more focused and proactive and work more productively alongside product and marketing.
Since joining Bain in 2011, Liza has taken a customer-first approach to answer the full range of strategic and tactical questions facing sales teams across sectors: GTM strategy, segmentation, product, marketing, pricing, efficiency, and operating model. She often works with executive teams to successfully navigate the implications of business-model disruption, including change management and capability-building across functions. She has experience working in B2B products and services, including software, technology and business services, and paper and packaging.
She holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA from Yale University, where she was a four-year varsity athlete on Yale Women's Crew.
