Bruno Lannes is a member and the former head of our Consumer Products and Retail practices.
Bruno has more than 30 years of management consulting experience. He holds deep expertise in all aspects of strategy development and implementation, performance improvement, organization, and change management.
Bruno has worked extensively in the food, personal care, and beverage sectors, with projects covering growth strategy, post-merger integration, sales and distribution optimization, and brand strategy. He has also led projects in the food and non-food retail spheres, with focus areas spanning strategy, acquisition evaluation and integration, and profit improvement.
Bruno has published multiple articles across the consumer products, luxury, and retail sectors in both Chinese and English business magazines. He is the main author of our China Shopper Reports, published semiannually since 2012 and describing China FMCG trends, as well as our China Luxury Report, published annually since 2008.
He is a recipient of the Shanghai Magnolia Silver Award, the highest honor bestowed by the city on expatriates who have significantly contributed to Shanghai's economic performance, international relations, business environment, management standards, and social development.
Bruno has applied his consulting experience globally with us, having previously worked in our London and Paris offices. He formerly led our Private Equity and E-commerce practices in France, working with investment funds from the United States and Europe on investment idea generation, strategic due diligence, and portfolio company improvement. He has also led multiple projects in the telecom sector across Europe.

Prior to joining us, he launched his own consulting firm and subsequently became the managing director of another top consulting firm in France.
Bruno holds an MBA, with distinction, from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He is also a graduate of Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de Paris (France).
